Your Key Accountabilities
- Executes assigned tasks in General R, D & I following standard operating procedures and safety/quality requirements.
- Maintains accuracy and completeness of records, documentation, and transactions in line with controls.
- Recognizes issues or inconsistencies and supports the continuous improvement of work procedures and instructions.
- Supports colleagues and responds to stakeholder requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintains accurate documentation and records in line with policies and procedures.
- Escalates issues, risks, and deviations promptly to supervisor and follows through on corrective actions.
What you will do
Receive consumables (fuels, service gases, spare parts, etc.), operating a forklift if necessary. Prepare consumables for use in the department by performing quality analyses in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in the assembly and installation of vehicles, engines, and after-treatment systems on test benches; adjust necessary equipment and follow manufacturer manuals or internal assembly instructions for the correct installation of cables, connections, equipment, analyzers, filters, and pressure/temperature sensors; and program the appropriate test as requested by the client.
Assist in installing analytical equipment on vehicles, engines, and after-treatment systems in accordance with client specifications or internal development guidelines, following service instructions.
Assist in programming tests within automation software, overseeing the selection of variables from the database—whether for standard emissions test cycles or for creating custom test cycles based on client requests.
Monitor the generation of emissions test results via system interfaces, enabling the analysis of compliance with current standards or adherence to client-specified requirements.
Perform equipment and utility checks (water supply, exhaust systems, humidity and temperature controls) using the supervisory system; report maintenance needs to ensure proper equipment functionality for testing operations.
Who we are looking for
High school diploma;
Courses in mechanics or electronics;
Technical training in Mechanics or Electronics is a plus;
Category B driver's license;
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
Knowledge of emissions testing laboratories (desirable);
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance;
Basic knowledge of vehicle emissions control;
Basic knowledge of internal combustion engine operation (Otto, Diesel);
Basic knowledge of quality systems;
Availability to work from 10:05 PM to 6:14 AM or from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
