Job Purpose

As Data & Analytics Lead you will lead the development and delivery of the data and analytics roadmap within CSM to enable high-quality reporting, support business transformation and drive a harmonised analytics landscape.

The Data & Analytics Lead will be part of the CSM Business IT team and will play a pivotal role in driving the Business Unit’s digital transformation. You will lead the development and management of our Data Platform, EPM tools, and Analytics capabilities, working closely with both the Information Systems Department and the CSM business teams.

This unique opportunity helps to shape the digital foundations of the business unit, translating business needs into impactful data solutions and becoming the go-to expert for data & analytics within CSM.

Your Key Accountabilities
  • Build & maintain the data platform and BI tools:
    • Design and develop the data & analytics platform and tools in close collaboration with the IS department
    • Oversee and manage implementation projects
    • Drive the transition from fragmented Qlik and Power BI reporting towards a harmonized Power BI-based landscape
    • Build a comprehensive understanding of the solutions that are developed, including an in-depth knowledge of their configuration and setup
    • Responsible for preparing and guiding testing, creating user manuals and providing end-user training
    • Support and maintain the CSM data & analytics solutions, making sure they are performant and regularly improved to meet new business requirements
  • Create and execute a short and long-term vision related to digitalization together with IS and BU-stakeholders
  • Be the main contact for data & analytics:
    • Act as the single point of contact for data and analytics within the CSM business unit
    • Capture and manage business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
    • Provide ongoing support to end-users during day to day operations
  • Explore and evaluate AI-driven solutions that can optimize business processes, ensuring they align with and enhance our existing data architecture
Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data & analytics domain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a drive for innovation.
  • Experience with Power BI, Azure, Anaplan, AI, SQL…
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Ability to work across a heterogeneous systems landscape, including SAP, TM1, other ERP systems, Power BI, etc.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and execution-oriented.
  • Coordinate between business and IS and align with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Collaborative and effective in working with BIT peers, business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Comfortable driving change in an environment with legacy complexity and evolving needs.
  • Project management experience (e.g. agile)
