What you will be doing
We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Manager to join our Corporate Security team at Umicore. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, you will be an expert in Security Risk Management with a focus on Information and Supply Chain Security. You will act as the project manager for security-related initiatives across multiple sites. Additionally promote a security-conscious culture through training and awareness and ensure compliance with security legislation in all countries where Umicore operates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Enterprise Security Risk: Collect, analyze, and report security and integrity-related data from incidents, audits, and other sources. Perform assessments and prepare security reports to support and inform senior management, the security community, and the business.
- Management of the Internal Security Community: Actively promote and facilitate the security community's work. Organize workshops, seminars, and info sessions on security-related topics, sharing best practices and lessons learned from incidents. Follow up on the registration of security-related incidents and participate in investigations.
- Compliance and Legal Security Advice: Provide advice and support on evolving security legislation, including Information Protection, ALM, fraud, integrity, bribery and corruption, and cybercrime. Inform relevant stakeholders about new security laws and ensure compliance.
- Risk Mitigation in Business Partner Screening (BPS): Perform BPS on complex, high-risk cases. Assess the correct use of BPS tools and information sources, ensuring proper documentation. Conduct yearly audits on BPS in collaboration with trade compliance, ESG, and compliance officers. Adapt the supply chain security guidelines based on risk evaluations and legal changes.
- Project Management on Security Topics: Enhance operational excellence in security. Lead and supervise security and integrity improvement projects across multiple sites and businesses, including initiatives on Information Security, protection of knowledge and intellectual property, and vulnerability and penetration testing. Contribute to cross-functional improvement projects and certification exercises (e.g., AI, ISO27000, NIS2, O.T.).
Who we are looking for
Requirements:
- 10+ years of work experience in a security-related domain.
- Master’s degree, preferably in law.
- Experience in a high-tech industrial environment is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in project management on related topics.
- Expertise in Organizational and Technical security management – an ASIS certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Security Risk management – ISO31000 certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Information security – ISO 27000 certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French, German. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
