What you will be doing

We are currently looking for an Enterprise Security Manager – Crisis and Resilience to join our headquarters in Brussels. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, in this role you will focus on specific security areas: Crisis and Resilience. You will be the project manager for security related initiatives on multi-site level to enhance operational excellence in these domains while promoting a security attitude for all and create awareness via the security community as an expert in security legislation across regions and countries.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a global crisis management framework aligned with key security risks (geopolitical, hybrid threats, utilities and communication), ensuring business continuity and organisational resilience.
  • Drive intelligence gathering and analysis by synthesising geopolitical and security information from internal and external sources, translating insights into actionable briefings for senior leadership and security stakeholders.
  • Collect and consolidate existing crisis management practices across sites and functions to establish a harmonised baseline.
  • Define risk scope, assess potential impacts, and prioritise mitigation actions based on business criticality and evolving geopolitical context.
  • Establish and maintain crisis management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Prepare structured reporting and updates on crisis preparedness and resilience posture for the Security Committee.
  • Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory and legal developments, translating them into practical guidance for business stakeholders.
  • Raise awareness of compliance requirements and emerging risks across the organisation.
  • Design and deliver crisis and resilience training programmes, including workshops, seminars, and best practice sharing.
  • Support and implement a train‑the‑trainer approach to strengthen internal crisis response capabilities.
  • Evaluate organisational readiness through maturity assessments, tabletop exercises, and real-life crisis simulations at site level.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional crisis and resilience improvement projects across multiple sites and business units.
  • Act as key security contact for designated sites, ensuring alignment and supporting local crisis preparedness initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing operational and administrative support to crisis and security activities, maintaining continuity and knowledge backup.

 

Who we are looking for

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ professional experience in crisis management, resilience, security, or a closely related field.
  • Master’s degree in a risk, security, or resilience‑related discipline, with additional certification such as ISO 31000.
  • Proven capability in intelligence gathering, analysis, and synthesis of complex information from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into clear, structured reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, preparedness, and resilience frameworks.
  • Exposure to a high‑tech or industrial manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); good knowledge of French and/or Dutch, German or any other languages are a plus.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgement when handling sensitive information.
  • Convincing communicator with excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external networks across regions and cultures.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and translate strategy into practical actions.
  • Pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Cost‑aware, balancing risk mitigation needs with operational and financial considerations
Your Key Accountabilities
  • Delivers expert work in Security with high quality and timeliness, applying best practices and standards.
  • Owns complex tasks in Risk Analysis, security operations management, producing accurate outputs and identifying risks or anomalies proactively.
  • Analyzes problems, recommends options, and implements improvements in methods, tools, or data flows.
  • Collaborates with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly.
  • Mentors less experienced colleagues, reviewing deliverables and elevating team standards.
  • Coordinates cross‑functional adoption of discipline‑specific enhancements ensuring consistent application and measurable performance gains.
  • Leads, develops and executes several security or privacy domains on a global scale or a regional (multi-country) responsibility on security.
