What will you be doing
As member of the Global Process Owner team (GPO), the job holder will focus on the Excellence journey and continuous improvement which includes Finance data management and process optimization deployment, connecting closely with GFS operational excellence teams, and BPO partner, following the hybrid operating model of GFS. Following elements will be your responsability:
- Drives the Finance Master Data Governance setting quality and sustainability standards towards the finance community and its stakeholders (including an event based RACI matrix), staying tuned with corporate data governance defined by Hermes NXT (analytics) and Group Control (reporting)
- Maintains and monitors the data quality dimensions (accuracy inconsistencies), completeness, consistency, timeliness (up to date) and solutions to address change management (creation, change, validations,..), including data quality audit, pro-active controls/errors detection.
- Ensures accounting schemes are monitored, adjusted based on reporting and analytical requirements (CoA, new products, new flows,…), while measuring impacts on interfaced solutions.
- Drives the continuous improvement portfolio, facilitating prioritization through business cases, cross GFS processes and cross geographies, liaising as business partner with BU’s and GFS organization.
- Orchestrates Budget, Forecast and GFS cost allocations (including Actual Testing)
- Ensures internal control framework ongoing adjustment following new GFS operating model, through process, applications and data analytical lenses), translating requests and closing issues into improvement/automation opportunities.
- Administrate and organize data and system access authorizations (including segregation of duties)
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Deep accounting / IFRS knowledge with understanding of UFRS and MICRs
- Solid understanding of finance master data elements
- Technical knowledge about connection of elements within SAP and further systems (e.g. Cognos / S/4HANA GR, ARIBA, etc.)
- Good communicator skills to interact within Finance, with BUs and IS organization using strong influencing skills.
- Highly rigorous and consistent in measuring functional and systems impacts of requests.
- Disciplined to define, maintain governance with accuracy and consistency.
- Able to plan and prioritize
- Able to decide after collecting rationally the feed-back of stakeholders.
