What you will be doing

 

We are currently looking for a  Intercompany Financial Materials Flow Manager to join the team. In this role you will focus on the intercompany financial business flows of direct materials of BM (from sample to mass production, from Raw materials to Finished product), to understand, map, design, optimise; as well as to document, communicate and monitor them on various drivers.

You will be in charge of calculating, controlling, communicating, analysing and reporting of the transfer pricing of these flows in actuals, forecasts and budgets, while ensuring and optimising an efficient and compliant process and setting up the regular monitoring.

 

Responsibilities

 

Manage, the financial flows for materials  related business flows of BM

  • Make sure that at all times an up to date understanding of all business flows of BM, as well as it drivers
  • Map and visualize all business flows and keep it up to date for access to the community of users and communicate effectively on it.
  • Act as the central or key or reference person in BCM and in Umicore in charge of the materials flows and manage all questions, requirement, issues related to these flows.
  • Ensure the internal compliance & set-up rules for these Materials flows are respected.
  • Coordinate with the different stakeholders (P&T, IS, Supply, Sales, SCM, Finance,…)

 

Lead the changes in these business flows and implementation across the teams

  • Evaluate the business flow options to optimise the situation and in accordance with changes in the business environment or adapt the business flows to changing parameters
  • Coordinate the design, validation and follow-up of physical, invoice and SAP flows in collaboration with Business Unit and/or IS (corporate + RBM& CSM) teams
  • Communicate the changes in business flows to the users across the BU entities and ensure clear understanding by all stakeholders

 

Transfer Pricing

  • Coordinate the intercompany Transfer Pricing process of BM in relation to the business flows
  • Structure the intercompany pricing process
  • Manage the annual, quarterly and monthly Transfer Pricing models.
  • Control the correct usage of the TP across RBM entities
  • Instruct and guide the Intercompany contract employee on the drafting of the related intercompany contracts, make sure the intercompany contracts reflect well the actual flows and transfer prices

 

Reporting & controlling & Projects:

  • Define, set-up the required reporting and report on dedicated flows and/or entities results in scope   
  • Control and analyse the related results and take the appropriate actions.
  • Be in charge of forecast and budget data input for Business flows and related transfer pricing
  • Map, think critically and assess about the Roles & responsibilities, processes to make it more efficient.
  • Actively participate to, contribute to and sometimes manage projects.

 

 

Who we are looking for

 

 Requirements:

 

  • 2-5 years knowledge and/or experience in Finance, Controlling. Transfer Pricing is a plus.
  • Master Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or other similar field
  • Experience in SAP, PowerBi and/or Anaplan
  • Easiness to work with different cultures and countries
  • Strong structural and analytical skills
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, interdependencies and optimisation possibilities and implement changes
  • Fast learner on diverse subjects and scopes, even outside Finance
  • Easiness to use new tools and know the processes and implications in depth
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills and ability to prioritize efficiently
  • Clear communication in an international environment
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
