We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead strategic initiatives that redefine the industrial landscape.

The Head of RBM BIT (Business IT) focuses more on Business Applications (ie. SAP S/4 Hana, Ariba, Salesforce, E-Portals, SAP Cloud & BTP, Blockchain, Planisware, RPA UIPath, SharePoint, O365, Teams, Yammer, Goldfire, Sigga, PowerApps & Power Automate, DocuSign). This team is the link between RBM and the people from IS (Information Systems). This goes in both directions:

➔ RBM -> IS: Business users often require enhancements to some of their existing tooling or they require new functionalities. In this case the BIT team captures these requirements, translates them into a functional design and discusses feasibility, impact and effort with IS.

➔ IS -> RBM: Due to technical reasons, a system upgrade is sometimes required which impacts the day-to-day operations of business users (e.g. SAP S/4 - CORE Project). In this case the BIT team will discuss with IS, assess the impact on the business users and ensure that the key users are properly informed and trained to work with the new system set-up.

Once a request, either from RBM or IS, is accepted, a project is initiated which is typically managed by a Project Manager. An example of a project which will soon be launched is the roll-out of Planisware. Planisware is a tool that will support our business managers in their PM admin activities (e.g. Drafting their future project roadmap, preparing their budget exercise, creating the resource mapping, etc.).

As a PM you will be involved end-to-end from the moment of capturing the business requirements until the implementation of the tool and aftercare. PM responsibilities include:

● Lead and oversee strategic projects that integrate digital technologies into industrial activities and processes

● Employ expert knowledge to guide the implementation and utilization of digital solutions for enhanced operational efficiency.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business objectives.

● Utilize strong language skills in English to communicate effectively across global teams and stakeholders.

● Manage the complete lifecycle of projects, from inception to delivery, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

● Utilize DevOps practices and Planisware tool knowhow to optimize project processes and outcomes.

● Provide operational excellence and digitalization consulting to drive transformative change.

● Apply AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) to manage medium to large-sized projects effectively.

● Demonstrate proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive project and program plans, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

● Exhibit a broad affinity with a wide range of digital technologies, showcasing a genuine interest in staying at the forefront of technological advancements

What we are looking for

● Proven track record in strategic project/program management within industrial domains.

● Familiarity with operational efficiency methodologies and a genuine passion for digitalization.

● PMP certification is a plus, highlighting your commitment to professional project management.

● Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.

● Strong organizational skills and an unwavering attention to detail.

● University degree in IT, sciences, engineering, or equivalent.

● Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT, sciences, engineering, or related fields.

● Demonstrated expertise in leveraging digital technologies to transform businesses.
