About Automotive Catalyst

Our technologies enable on-road and non-road applications, as well as power generation and process industry to meet environmental standards around the world. What you will be doing

This position is responsible for:

• Performing assigned duties in one or more work areas, such as Plant Operations, Warehouse, or the Prototype Lab, depending on preference, experience, and business needs
• Following all Umicore safety rules, procedures, and guidelines at all times
• Supporting production, warehousing, or administrative tasks in alignment with Umicore quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles
• Completing tasks that may include basic operator duties, material handling, general labour, administrative support, or project-based assignments
• Participating in any required computer testing or security screening for certain positions
• Other duties as assignedWork schedules may include days (Monday–Friday), days (Monday–Saturday), or shift work, depending on placement
• Commit to upholding, respecting, and ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards established by company guidelines
• Actively contribute to a culture of care by collaborating on preventative measures and continuous improvement actions related to health and safety activities

Who we are looking for

Education and Experience
This position's education and experience requirements are:

• Must be a student returning to school full‑time in September 2026
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Preference will be given to students who have completed at least one year of college or university
• Previous Umicore summer students will be given priority based on positive past performance
• Computer literacy is an asset (Microsoft Office preferred)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, or administrative environment is considered an asset but not required

The competencies required for this role:

• Highly motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills
•  The hourly starting rate for this position is $22.29 plus a monthly premium if applicable
• This role is only for the summer months Ie. May -  August
