What you will be doing
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of all machinery and facilities on the site. All aspects of preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance will be performed. This position will also work shifts in support of the Manufacturing schedule.

Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.

Maintain the equipment in such a fashion as to increase uptime and minimize maintenance costs.

Participate in continuous improvements and other Quality efforts.

Responsible for electrical and mechanical equipment preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance. This includes utilization of the SAP Maintenance Module.

Responsible for facilities maintenance, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and creation of preventive maintenance documentation procedures and forms.

Support Manufacturing continuous improvement and Quality initiatives. Support capital projects and facility improvements. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Assist with maintaining the spare parts and consumable items used to keep equipment functioning. Interface with vendors to specify and acquire appropriate materials for the process.

Who we are looking for
Experience
High School diploma or GED. Associate's degree in electrical/electronics preferred Welding, machining or mechanical skills preferred.
Familiarity with pumping systems including centrifugal, diaphragm, piston and peristaltic. Ability to troubleshoot low voltage systems, work with digital and analog equipment, calibrate equipment and use a multi-meter.
Ability to troubleshoot 24V to 480V systems Proficient in piping/plumbing of industrial equipment.
Ability to acquire the appropriate information via product manuals and literature to determine the needs of the equipment.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft office
The individual must be able to develop both short term and long-term solutions to maintain the up time of the facility, often finding unique solutions where none had previously existed.
