What you will be doing
The Site Quality Manager is responsible for the management of quality and environmental management systems and related process.
- Quality Management System: Conducting Management Reviews, overseeing the management of policies, procedures, records and organizes/conducts audits.
- Environmental Management System: Conducting Management Reviews, overseeing the management of policies, procedures, records and organizes/conducts.
- Action Management: overseeing the completion of corrective and preventive actions, and verifying effectiveness from audits, customer complaints, and other sources
- Change Management System: Ensures all stakeholders are included in change management team, and activities are completed to standard
- Product Specification and Certificate of Analysis: Owner of the site’s databases. Interacts with segment leaders, Customer Service and customers on alignment and accuracy
- Customer Surveys: completes customer surveys regarding quality and environmental management systems
- Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications to include new expansion(s)
- Ensure Umicore standards and requirements are met.
- Develop Quality and Environmental Strategies with key stakeholders (local and global)
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field
Experience at being the Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and 9001
5 plus years of experience in related work
LEAN and Visual Management Experience (5S) a plus
Has a hands-on approach to the job
Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills with employees and stakeholders
Systems and process oriented
Has the ability to motivate and organize colleagues
