What you will be doing
The jobholder will be part of the IT team, will interact with the business teams of Umicore (APAC), and within the IS department (at global and local level).
Responsibilities:
- As a SAP team member you will be proficient in your domains, SAP Production Planning, Quality Management, from a functional and configuration point of view.
- SAP Implementation and Enhancement Projects in Umicore.
- Analyse the As-Is processes of the company.
- Act as regional template keeper during projects: protect and enforce the template and contribute to template development based on gained experience from roll out projects.
- Help key users migrate the old data to the new system.
- Ensure common rules and data are respected.
- Propose and develop, where necessary, solutions to gaps.
- Transfer to the key users the necessary knowledge to use the application in a correct manner.
- Help the key users to test the system and to realise system acceptance.
- Implement and monitor the authorisations in the system so that sensitive and critical data/processes are protected.
- Keep the project manager(s) informed about project progress and issues.
- Perform functional testing.
- Provide expertise to the SAP Support team where needed.
- Cooperating with Business Applications Team and Team Lead based in Belgium.
Who we are looking for
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent by experience in IT technology.
Native profile (Chinese)
Technical skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the following SAP Production Planning & Quality Management (functional and technical side), as well as Microsoft office.
- Experience with S4 HANA project is a MUST.
- 5 years of experience or above, with at least 3 proven full-cycle implementation experience.
- Working experience as both external consultant and internal consultant.
Language skills
- Excellent command and fluency in English.
- Cantonese is a plus.
Managerial skills:
- Designer of solutions, analyse business process and translate in technical terms the functional description.
- Build business cases in order to prioritize actions in compliance with group rules and IT roadmaps/strategy.
- Work in an international / multi-cultural environment, with different person profiles and managing different priorities simultaneously.
- Manage changes in working methods, processes and tools.
- Plan the sequence of actions in a project mode, while staying flexible in changing priorities environment.
- Willingness to travel: 30%
Personal skills:
- Ability to build a solution (being agile in switching from conceptual to practical / technical levels), defend such solution and persuade stakeholders, before finally implement this solution.
- Strong communicator in face to face circumstances, in front of a group or on remote basis (building trust and solid network). This requires excellent writing and reporting abilities, formulating concepts or suggestions in a clear and structured way.
- Strong analytical and synthetic skills.
- Change management skills (including emotional intelligence and empathy) building argumentation and influencing in a structured way and stay resilient in case of resistance.
- Results and customer support driven, be accountable and respectful of deadlines and resilient in efforts when facing headwinds.
- Resistant to stress and coping with pressure and setbacks.
- Excellent team player but capable to work independently when necessary.
- Willing to travel frequently at regional level and occasionally overseas.
