  • Develop and maintain integrated IT & OT business continuity and disaster recovery strategies aligned with business goals and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses across IT and OT domains to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize recovery efforts.
  • Define and manage Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for critical systems and services.
  • Design and implement resilience plans including backup, restoration, failover, and alternate site strategies for both IT and OT systems.
  • Lead testing and validation of continuity plans through simulations, tabletop exercises, and real-world scenarios.
  • Monitor emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve resilience and recovery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive adoption of technological solutions that enhance availability and recovery across IT and OT landscapes.
  • Educate and train employees on continuity processes, ensuring organizational readiness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during incidents, crisis management, and recovery operations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reporting on continuity planning, testing, and performance.
  • Stay current with trends in cybersecurity, industrial control systems (ICS), and business continuity management.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/OT continuity, disaster recovery, or cybersecurity roles, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record in project management within global or international organizations.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus), with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of information technologies, including infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with operational technologies (OT), including ICS/SCADA systems, network segmentation, and industrial protocols.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven interpersonal abilities in teamwork, negotiation, and relationship management.
