What you will be doing

The purpose of the job of a Business IT Manager for PMC and FCS is to ensure that the business applications and cooperate services effectively support its business goals and operations. Work in close collaboration with the Business Applications Solutions teams to ensure that projects will be delivered in time and business needs are addressed properly.

You (PMC/FCS) support the development of the BU's strategic IT plan and road map globally. You ensure that PMC/FCS requirements are sufficiently taken into account in IT projects. In this sense, you perform as an interface between the functional areas of the BU’s and the business application solution teams. You take the change manager role in large projects to ensure that solutions are used in the BU. You enable and emphasize new IT technology trends into the business units. Detailed tasks will be

Who we are looking for

Diploma or master’s degree (ideally in the field of information technology) or comparable through experience
Very good understanding of the chemical business and production processes
Profound experience in IT processes and projects
Profound experience in successful project management
Very good SAP knowledge
Very good knowledge in manufacturing and laboratory management systems
Very good knowledge of collaboration tools (DevOPS)

data analysis
resource management
fluent in English
fluent in German is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to present in front of senior management technical issues clear and structured.
Excellent leadership skills and intercultural behaviour
Stress resilient and willing to travel
