What you will be doing
- Develop and maintain mid- to long-term technology roadmaps

Technology Assessment & Innovation Scouting (identify and evaluate emerging catalytic technologies, materials, and process innovations)

Intellectual Property Strategy (analyze and coordinate competitor IP-portfolios and global patent landscapes to identify white spaces, risks and opportunities)

M&A and Strategic Partnership Advisory (provide intelligence-based insights to support M&A evaluations, technology acquisitions and strategic alliances)

Market & Competitor Intelligence (monitor key players, market dynamics, and regulatory trends in catalysis and adjacent sectors)
Who we are looking for
- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
- Business or IP-related certifications (e.g., MBA, CEIPI, SCIP) are a plus.
- extensive professional experience in competitive intelligence, technology strategy, or innovation management within the chemical or catalysis industry.
- extensive professional experience in managing or consulting
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Proficiency in patent and scientific databases (e.g., Orbit, Derwent, Scopus).
- Expertise in technology roadmapping and M&A support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Recognised leadership and coaching skills
- logic and critical thinking
- Willingness to travel regionally as well as worldwide (30%)
