About Precious Metals Recycling

We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new processes. Which is where you come in.
What you will be doing
As Supply Manager Recyclables you are part of the commercial department and you align strategies, autonomously develop, promote, negotiate and sell PMR’s recycling services.
More detailed responsibilities:
- Set-out market strategies for further optimizing and growth of the Recyclables business activity.
- Negotiate supply contracts, set-out boundaries of a contract and provide technical support.
- Organize visits to Hoboken and to customers, (key)-Account management.
- Prospection of current / new accounts and supply opportunities.
- Report on regular and structural basis (visit reports).
- Implement/conceptialize corrective measurements as to further optimize the supply chain, short and long terms (ad hoc if applicable).
- Within the frame-work set out, maintain contacts with accounting, metals management, controlling, legal, sampling, laboratories and other support services in order to assure an optimal service towards the customer.
- Attend conferences related to further promotion and networking.
- Develop promotional material, as well as foster technical expertise and knowledge within the unit (eg technical memo’s).
- Contribute to the planning and execution of yearly budgets and marketing plans.
- Provide guidelines to the Commercial Assistants.
- Align and challenge with operations on new feeds, assure commercial business development (new feeds) is mindset becomes embedded in the organization.
Who we are looking for
An enthusiastic colleague, with:
- A master's degree or equivalent through experience
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar job environment
- Extended experience of business practices
- Strong soft skills such as teamwork, communication skills, open-mindedness, organisation and time-management
- Take initiatives and motivate others
- Are result-driven and perseverant
- Strong language skills: English is a must. German, French, Spanish & Dutch are valuable assets.
- Willing to travel (max 20% of your time, within and outside Europe)
