What you will be doing

 

Technical Service Engineering

  • Execute and support off site and onsite engineering and design work, ensuring it is done pursuant to contract specification and quality procedures, and is delivered according to project deadlines.
  • Execute engineering projects at customer installations, equipment fabricators, offsite engineering companies, including design, quotations, tests, implementation.
  • Modify equipment standards to accommodate new engineering designs and O&M procedures. 
  • Work closely with commercial sales team globally during the proposal process to ensure deadlines can be met.
  • Communicate with clients and sub-suppliers to maintain client relationships.

Technical Sales Management 

  • Responsible for preparing technical and commercial components of engineering service proposals.
  • Conduct assessments of customer operation process to determine best solution to meet customer onsite and offsite engineering expectations
  • Research and author technical papers and presentations, represent the company and its engineering catalyst products at customer visits, conferences and exhibitions.
  • Initiate and direct customer terms and conditions review. Liasing with the Regional Directors and legal departments to ensure contracts meet best practices.

Direct Sales and Customer Development

  • Manage and execute catalyst replacement projects that require additional offsite and onsite technical expertise in mechanical engineering and construction. 
  • Arrange, prepare, and conduct client onsite and offsite visits for the purpose of presenting technical presentation. Prioritize follow up as appropriate to increase market share.
  • Provide technical expertise within the industry identifying solutions to process problems associated with emissions reduction.
  • Expand and develop client base as a subject matter expert. 

After Sales/Service Management

  • Troubleshooting and resolving any and all engineering and product related issues.
  • Assist with all root-cause analysis and troubleshooting activities in after sales support for clients.
  • Perform onsite and offsite inspections, foster client relationships through face-to-face contact.
  • Assist product Manager with reviewing and revising sample test reports as appropriate. Providing technical guidance to accurately communicate laboratory results to all parties involved.

 

Who we are looking for

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a similar field is preferred, equivalent years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. 
  • 5 -10 years project engineering experience in the Chemical Industry with Engineering Sales and/or Project Management experience, preferred. 
  • 5 -10 years of related industry experience

Physical Ability

  • Ability to do confined space entry
  • Ability to climb ladder cages

Travel

  • Ability to travel 25%
