Main responsibilities

Main responsibility is assistance of managing projects for targeted customers until EOP considering 4 management stages based on the instruction of Sales Manager (Customer project management/Industrialization management/Mass production management/Spare parts management). 

 

  1. All Interface of Customer 
  1. The function assists management of Customer team at USJP based of supervisor’s instruction . In addition, the function assists assignment of goals for the associate Umicore Shokubai team members globally in coordination with the respective functional supervisor while consulting with manager. 
  1. The function is responsible, following the instructions of the manager, to plan and agree with management of Umicore Shokubai to reach a defined business results. 
  1. The function devises customer specific strategies to the management of Umicore Shokubai based on supervisor's instruction, through the IBP process and regular updates. 
  1. The function specifies the technical & commercial terms and conditions including PGM price, and substrate delivery systems. This includes: 
  • Maintain close relationship with Technical team to define market direction with regards to technology and system integration 
  • Sample order system coordination, pricing and deliveries 
  • Considering price strategy and definition of logistic requirements 
  • Annual price negotiation including spare parts 
  • Controle of AR & AP process for Customer 
  • Production location including spare parts 
  1. The function assists management and planning of all customer relationships, visits, and reporting until EOP. 
  1. The function assists propose of adequate credit lines for the OEM’s and the canners and is ultimately responsible for the A/R collection.  
  1. The function monitors customer satisfaction, market dynamics, technical trends and competition. 
  1. Ensure delivery of mass-production parts after receive an order from customer. 
  1. Try to optimize inventory level and secure to delivery to customer on time, with Planning team

Who we are looking for 

 

Required profile

Functional requirements  (Education, years of experience in different areas, technical skills, …) 

  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate office is preferred (experience in the automotive industry, chemistry, and SAP is even better) 
  • Operational skills for Office software (Excel, Power Point, WordTeams)  
  • Working experience and/or Knowledge of logistics and planning 
  • English: Ordinary conversation 

Personal skills (Behavioural competencies) 

  • Able to understand the system systematically and think strategically 
  • Ability to value teamwork and communicate with team members and internal and external stakeholders to carry out work 
  • Be willing to put in the hard work to create various documents and other materials
