What you will be doing

PGM accounting and reporting

  • SAP PGM Valuation for each customer (Trading inventory, Sales & Purchase Commitment).  Coordinate with India PGM HUB as needed.
  • PGM margin and variance analysis
  • Complete PGM results booking in SAP and PGM reports in Cognos (M102, 103, 104)
  • Confirm inventories of Own metals, R&D metals, Himeji PGM consumptions those are not being booked in SAP
  • PGM handling fee calculation after EOD check and execution
  • Confirm MMTh and Isuzu PM powder selling prices to be sold to UAT until Himeji plant is closed.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecast
  • Continue PGM closing process optimisation and improvement

 

PGM Purchasing

  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service on metal Sales Commitment maintenance and reconciliation.
  • Responsible for SAP Metal Demand Planning and Coordinate with India PGM HUB as needed.
  • Create purchase order documents for customers in accordance with Purchase Commitments.
  • Purchase PGM for non-back to back customers (from Mitsubishi corporation) in accordance with Purchase Commitments.
  • Liaise with NSCL production and vendors to ensure PGM delivery done accordingly

 

PGM Inventory

  • Monitor and tracks metal inventory DIO’s by material categories, and supports the optimisation of USJP’s working capital in the complete supply chain from metal purchase to sales of catalysts to the customer, including refining processes for R&D.
  • Confirm monthly customers inventory statements
  • Revaluation of inventory in line with PGM prices update
  • Reconcile inventory quantities placed both at NSCL Himeji plant, plus Umicore Rayong, Suzhou, and Onsan plants and at USJP
  • Support physical inventory count at R&D, Himeji plant and external warehouses

 

Others

  • Assumes the lead on all metal related external and internal audits
  • Participates in projects for metal function as decided by a supervisor

 

Who we are looking for

Functional requirements  (Education, years of experience in different areas, technical skills, …)

Preferred Master or bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Reliable background in finance, accounting and controlling

3+ years, experience in an industrial environment with an international company

5+ years SAP user experience of SAP-FI and knowledge of MM and SD

Understanding of J-GAAP and IFRS

Very good English verbal and written communication skills required

Excellent office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
