Your Key Accountabilities
Over the next 1 to 3 years, the Digitalization & Business IT coordinator in Finland will play a pivotal role in shaping the site's digital future while ensuring operational excellence. The strategic focus of this position will be to:
- Drive Digital Transformation: Lead the development and execution of a site-specific digitalization roadmap that aligns with broader business objectives. This includes initiating and delivering cross-functional digital projects that enhance efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Simplify and Stabilize the IT Landscape: Establish a clear strategy for the local application ecosystem, aiming to reduce technical debt, retire legacy systems, and implement scalable, maintainable solutions. The manager will champion simplification and standardization to improve system performance and reduce support costs.
- Enable Business Value through Technology: Collaborate with site stakeholders to build strong business cases for digital initiatives and tools, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and measurable impact. This includes supporting the adoption of innovative technologies and platforms such as AI assistants and advanced analytics.
- Ensure Operational Resilience and Compliance: Maintain robust IT governance, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery strategies. The role will also ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, TISAX, NIS2), acting as the primary contact for audit and security-related matters.
- Foster Cross-Site and Global Alignment: Actively participate in enterprise-wide forums and initiatives to harmonize digitalization and IT practices across sites, ensuring local efforts contribute to global transformation goals.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a visionary leader who can balance innovation with operational reliability, and who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
