Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore’s expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. Your Key Accountabilities

In this position, you will help ensure regulatory compliance, uphold management system standards, and promote a safe, sustainable and continuously improving work environment.  Specifically, you will:  

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of site-level EHS and ISO programs in alignment with Group policies and regulatory requirements;
  • Assist with the collection and reporting of EHS data to meet federal, state, and company requirements; 
  • Participate in compliance evaluations, document reviews, risk awareness initiatives, audits, and inspections; 
  • Support incident investigations and follow-up actions;
  • Assist in delivering EHS and ISO training to individuals and teams; and,
  • Perform other related dutes as assigned.  
Who we are looking for

Our success is based on individuals who are ready to make the most of their skills and prepared to tackle any challenge they fact.  For this position, you should have the following skills and qualifications: 

  • Minimum Associates' Degree in a business or science field;
  • Experience collecting, organizing, evaluating, and reporting data for EHS and ISO programs;
  • Proficient computer skills using Excel, SharePoint, and Teams; 
  • Understanding of and experience working with ISO systems (9001, 14001 & 45001);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and,
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Additional Information

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility in LaVergne, Tennessee.  This facility is a Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
