About Jewellery & Industrial Metals

A wealth of applications. Umicore is an expert in developing products and processes based on precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum. These materials enable our customers to make fine jewellery, coins, high-purity glass and industrial catalysts. Umicore also enables the sustainable and responsible sourcing of these metals and provides closed-loop recycling for our customers. To make the most of these materials we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new processes. Which is where you come in.

 

 

What you will be doing

  • Daily support for customers in providing them with current pricing, quotes, entering and processing orders.
  • Provide administrative support such as handling incoming inquiries, invoicing, filing, and mail
  • Inform customers of new products, services promotions and upcoming events
  • Register new customer by opening accounts
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Who we are looking for

  • College diploma or equivalent in business administration, marketing or similar field combined with previous experience in sales, marketing or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Advanced computer skills (Outlook, MS Office)
  • Attention to detail
  • Hours of work minimum 20 hours a week in office
  • This position is a temporary replacement
  • Pay for this position $19 an hour
