What you will be doing 

 

  • Concept and Creation of the Umicore global standards with respect to transformers and switchgear rooms for all process buildings.
  • MV network concept, implementation and execution for all future investments
  • Substantive technical responsibility in the field of installation of MV 20kV and HV 110 KV networks at the plant
  • Monitoring the process of purchasing critical equipment for the investment process
  • Managing medium voltage engineer(s) team
  • Giving opinions on technical documentation
  • Giving opinions on the scope of work for future investments in terms of completeness and technical solutions used
  • Reconciliation of technical solutions with the designer and maintenance department
  • Preparing company standards and regulations, including transformators, buildings, switch gear
  • Monitoring irregularities directly at the construction site and taking action according to the agreed process
  • Verification of equipment supplier schedules
  • Controlling the costs associated with the implementation of the construction
  • Preparation of bills of quantities and verification of subcontractors' measurements
  • Optimization of the investment process, identifying and executing potential savings based on the technical re-evaluation of the contractors offers (in cooperation with CAPEX team)
  • Verification of the technical and financial rationality of additional works submitted by contractors
  • Verification of acceptance documentation, checking the completeness of as-built documentation red- corex, as-built
  • Conducting coordination meetings with participants of the construction process
  • Work on the construction site 70%; office 30%
  • Approval of building materials, acceptance of works, participation in commissioning, verification of work progress, (investment worth approx. 10 mln euro)
  • Cost and schedule risk analysis

 

Who we are looking for 

 

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering
  • Building licenses in the field of installation in the field of networks, installations and electrical and power equipment without restrictions are welcome
  • Experience in greenfield and brown field projects carried out in the EPCm, EPC formula
  • Professional experience > 10 years on the construction site
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level
  • knowledge of health and safety rules
  • authorized SEP above 1 KV welcome
