About Cobalt & Specialty Materials

Your Key Accountabilities
- Own and manage the complete mechanical and piping scope within multidisciplinary CAPEX projects.
- Translate process requirements into fit-for-purpose engineering concepts and solutions.
- Review, coordinate and approve engineering deliverables, specifications and technical documentation.
- Coordinate external engineering partners, suppliers and contractors.
- Prepare technical specifications, tender packages and technical bid evaluations.
- Monitor fabrication, FAT activities, delivery, installation and mechanical completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, scope, schedule, budget and risk objectives.
- Support pre-commissioning, SAT and start-up activities.
- Act as deputy Project Manager and independently manage smaller investment projects when required.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering within an industrial project environment.
- Strong expertise in mechanical equipment, piping systems, materials, pumps and valves.
- Proven experience coordinating engineering partners and contractors.
- Knowledge of industrial project methodologies, engineering standards and best practices.
- Experience in process industries and brownfield environments is an advantage.
- Proactive, structured and results-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
- Fluent Dutch and a good command of English.
