Your Key Accountabilities

Gather, analyze, design, and implement data-related requirements and optimization initiatives
Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for extracting data from cloud and on-premise systems into a Data Lake
Build and manage large, complex datasets aligned with business needs
Configure data workflows to optimize ETL/ELT processes across multiple data sources
Evaluate current data architecture and recommend improvements
Develop analytics tools to generate actionable business insights (e.g., customer acquisition, operational performance)
Create small data-driven applications to support analytics and data science teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and data deliver

Who we are looking for

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in SQL and relational databasesExperience with big data pipelines, architectures, and datasetsHands-on experience with:

ETL tools: Databricks, DBT, Azure Data Factory
Databases: SQL & NoSQL systems
File formats: Parquet, JSON, CSV, XML
Programming languages: Python, Java, C++, PowerShell, DAX

Experience with Azure Data Services and DatabricksKnowledge of message queues, stream processing, and scalable data storesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps

Nice To Have

Experience or understanding of Data Mesh architecture
SAP knowledge
Azure data-related certifications
German language skills
