Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining organized inventory and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with work instructions and customer requirements
- Verify and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and distribute materials appropriately
- Report and resolve issues such as shortages, damaged goods, or non-conformance
- Utilize SAP and carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to manage shipping and receiving transactions
- Ensure all shipping and receiving paperwork is complete and accurate
- Assist with unpacking and repacking specialized materials (e.g., germanium, GASIR)
- Maintain organization and proper identification of shipping/receiving and storage areas
- Perform cycle counts and monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies
- Ensure shipping and receiving equipment is in good working condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software
- Frequently (50% of workday) Standing and walking throughout facility, navigating warehouse and dock areas safely
- Ability to lift push, pull, carry and move materials up to 50 pounds
Your Key Accountabilities
- Executes assigned tasks in SC & P Operations following standard operating procedures and safety/quality requirements.
- Maintains accuracy and completeness of records, documentation, and transactions in line with controls.
- Recognizes issues or inconsistencies and supports the continuous improvement of work procedures and instructions.
- Supports colleagues and responds to stakeholder requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintains accurate documentation and records in line with policies and procedures.
- Escalates issues, risks, and deviations promptly to supervisor and follows through on corrective actions.
