What you will be doing
- Ensure the availability of equipment and components for all facilities in CRD Shanghai, and oversee the maintenance of special equipment (gas stations, valves, and instruments).
- Report to QEHS & Security manager and colleagues on project progress and results. Monitor compliance of approved sub-budgets and, where appropriate, initiate corrective action.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans (annual/monthly), optimize compressed air systems, BMS systems, and confined space etc.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to complete equipment commissioning (SAT/FAT), manage water and electricity billing, and monitor energy consumption.
- Supervise the daily operation of fire safety systems (indoor/outdoor hydrants, automatic sprinklers), exhaust gas treatment (DA001/DA002), and hazardous waste storage.
- Define unique equipment according to business development plan of CRD Shanghai, construct electrical schematics, layouts, complete documentation, and technical negotiation with supplier, and help with the procurement of new equipment/tools.
- Comply with company and local government rules on safety, environment, and health including proper use of industrial safety equipment.
- Manage inventory of spare parts/tools and request order replacements.
- Able and willing to be on call 24 hours.
Who we are looking for
Functional requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC/ Automation Engineering (BS preferred).
- Valid electrician certification.
- 5+ years’ experience related to facility management in multinational companies, proficient in HVAC, BMS, RO systems, scrubbers, compressed air systems, and confined space management.
- Familiar with government EHS regulations, SAT/FAT commissioning standards and energy billing processes.
- Be able to operate some minor repair tasks and urgent issues.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD for electrical drawings, with experience in equipment procurement and contractor management.
- Have good skill in planning and organizing.
- Computer skill in Excel, Word, & Power Point
- Basic English communication by oral and written
