What you will be doing

1.    Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Order-to-Cash processing team. Ensure end-to-end process effectiveness and efficiency.

2.    Manage relations with internal customers

3.    Ensures complete and up-to-date procedures are in place, in line with Umicore Minimum Internal Control Requirements (MICR) and implements best practices concerning Segregation of Duties (SOD) within his/her department

4.    Define and report Key Performance Indicators on a timely basis, follow-up on performance metrics and take appropriate corrective actions as required.

5.    Identifies, proposes and implements continuous improvement projects within the area of the processes in scope in coordination with GPOs and treasury team.

6.    Integrate new entities into GFS coverage and ensure the smooth operation during transition.

 

Main task of the O2C

1.    Ensuring timely and accurate invoice posting and issuing and the reconciliation between SAP and GTS

2.    Ensuring timely information of AR collection to BU and the accurate clearing of AR

3.    The follow up of the balance confirmations related to customers

4.    Provide ageing report to the entities

5.    Managing the monthly and year end closing for order to cash

6.    Provide cash forecast information to support in financing planning

7.    Ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

8.    Ensuring correct bank transactions posting and providing monthly bank reconciliation report to site and Treasury.

 

Who we are looking for

     Bachelor or above degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Finance.

     At least 6 to 10 years of experience within the field of Accounting

     Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well thought out conclusions.

     Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction.

     Networking and influencing skills

     Experience of working in finance share service center and processing companies in APAC (excluding China) is a plus.

 Languages: fluent in English

     Ability to work autonomously (flexible and stress resistant) within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

     Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

     Good communication and develops trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate business achievements.

     Seeks deep understanding of stakeholders needs, motivations and behaviours and translates them into insights to create value.
