Your Key Accountabilities
  1. Daily Operation Support
  • Configure and maintain all process control system hardware and software to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure smooth PLC, Electrical and Instrument equipment operation.
  • Analyse troubles to remove their causes and avoid reappearance
  • Support the downtime analysis and improvement project
  • Read and know PLC control logic to optimize standard work flow and error proofing
  • Support standardization and lesson-learned activities, sharing and deliver technical training across automation and maintenance of UAC1 and UAC2.
  • Inspect, test and adjust all physical plant systems, machinery and equipment according to PM plans
  • Work closely with other function teams to continuously improve safety, EfG, quality and productivity.
  • Participate and optimize daily TPM activities.

 

  1. Upgrade & Projects relevant
  • Support local project leaders during installation and commissioning.
  • Maintain Master software and hardware closely with Global and be responsible for regular rollout across APAC plants
  • Optimize software and hardware version upgrade procedure to avoid unexpected ricks
  • Share technical solutions and best practices with other APAC plants
  • Support Automation Community activities.

 

  1. General
  • Be on stand-by for troubleshooting of plant PLC system & process data record system in UAC1 and UAC2 after hours
  • Ensure all activities safety with company EHS standards
  • Other tasks assigned from Plant Engineering Manager

 

 

Who we are looking for
  1. BS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Automation Engineering or related
  2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in configuring and troubleshooting PLC systems, HMI designing(Experienced with Beckhoff PLC, Zenon HMI configuration is desirable), and be familiar with instrument and equipment commissioning such as Motor, Converter and Sensors
  3. Knowledge and experience on communication interface, field bus and Internet Technology
  4. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and successfully in English
  5. Preferably experienced in AI applications, digitalization, and smart manufacturing solutions. 
  6. Very positive working attitude, Team-oriented, Communication and Supervision skill
