What you will be doing 
1) Sales Activity
•    Making suitable budget and sales forecast for short term and long term.
•    Making sales strategy to establish the big pillar of import HOC, like CX21 before, business with appropriate milestones in middle term with expected and effective events we should do. 
•    Render technical information to potential customers.  This is quite important in sales promotion of HOC products, to make them convinced technically how Umicore’s products are attractive, superior or effective.
•    Close contact with HOC in Hanau.
•    Develop sales plan for supply of products taking advantage of JEFTA (and after capacity expansion in Hanau).


2) Enhancement of relationship with partners for sales promotion
•    With limited manpower and resources, need to utilize good partners for sales promotion in alignment with HOC in Hanau, respecting established global contractual setups e.g. with distributors.  We have already had several partners and many inquiries come from them.  
In order to enlarge HOC business, need to enhance and create the relationship with partners who have strong connection to pharmaceutical, electronic materials and the relevant industries.


3) Branding of HOC in Japan
•    In order to make us more reputable, more branding activity is necessary. For example, participation to dedicated symposium, exhibition and advertisement in special magazine.


4) Technical support to Tsukuba product for both HOC and INC
•    With rich knowledge of chemical products, to support Tsukuba product for both HOC BAS and INC in sales promotion and quality problem.
•    To facilitate technical meeting with customers, collect questions and convey comments from Hanau Tech Sales team.
•    If necessary, attend technical meeting with customers for Tsukuba products.

Who we are looking for 
Functional requirements:
•    Master of business administration or equivalent business training preferred. 
•    Preferred (additional) Education: Whatever represents technical education e.g. chemistry (but not PhD level), engineering, material science
•    Experience: 3-5 years in Sales and Product Management in a Specialty Chemical or Fine Chemical industry environment
•    Experienced in marketing and selling technical products in industry related products. Good commercial skills to develop good relationships with the customers. Ability to identify new business opportunities.

Experience working with large accounts.
•    Proven ability to manage customer relationships, engage in proposal development, present solution alternatives and manage customer engagements 
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with the executive-level across an enterprise and manage customer relationships 
•    Ability to set priorities and manages work flows to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
•    Good understanding of PC, MS Office, SAP systems and Salesforce would be a plus.

•    Commitment to professionalism and ethics
•    English: Business fluent in writing, reading and oral communication.
•    Japanese: Native level
•    Personnel management experience
