Rechargeable Battery Materials

What you will be doing

 

 

Recruitment strategy & approach

Manage and own end-to-end recruitment process including screening, assessment, interview, and offer process activities ensuring superior candidate experience

Define applicant pool search criteria, sort applicants, and update existing candidate pools

Partner with the business to align on the right sourcing strategy for a particular set of needs – where the use of an external  agency is warranted (will need to define policies and guidelines as to when the business can utilize an agency) to provide final approval for requests outside of predetermined policy

 

Create and post jobs

Post job internally and externally and assign the primary recruiter, the Sourcer and the TA Coordinator

Update & post jobs, manage requisitions, and disposition candidates

 

Screening, assessing and interviewing

Review candidates' applications, screen their profiles and share shortlisted applications with Managers for pre-selection.

Consider if the candidate’s profile and potentials could fill another position

Shortlist candidates through conducting first round interviews, intake meetings, interview debriefs, reviews assessments, etc.

Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Manager feedback

Guide contract negotiation and manage contracts for candidates (end-to-end selection, negotiation and signing)

 

Candidate pool management

Identify need for proactive candidate pool or need to edit/close Evergreen (high volume/ always needed) requisitions

Maintain a pulse on the current market relevant to Umicore while sensing the business needs to provide actionable intelligence to build a potential talent pool

Generate excitement within the candidate about the role, EVP, and Umicore

 

Stakeholder alignment

Partner with Comp & Ben to prepare offer package and extend offer to candidate, or prepare and send rejection communication

Prepare and conduct recruitment strategy and intake meetings with the Hiring Manager

Work with Hiring Manager to manage hiring volume and headcount goals, gathers key input for candidate slates, and provides feedback on candidates and influences hiring decisions

 

Project Management

Manages local TA related projects

 

Who we are looking for

 

Provide a first-rate customer and candidate experience

Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills

A natural integrator who can instantly establish relationship with candidates

Experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems in order to quickly and efficiently find the right person for the right role at the right time

Comfortable leveraging data and analytics to make a data-driven decision rather than by ‘feel’

Ability to effectively manage multiple relationships with business stakeholders and different candidates throughout different geographic regions or business units

Experience with different selection processes, such as reference checks and phone interviews

Experience in conducting different types of job interviews, such as structured, stress, or competency-based

Ability to effectively partner with secondary groups supporting TA processes

Ability to make logical decisions in a complex environment

Ability to deliver high potential quality talent to the organization while handling multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly

Segment and industry-specific knowledge proven by successfuly completed recruitment processes for various job levels

Ability to understand business cultural differences and understand the needs of the talent pool in different regions

Understanding the information to a holistic approach to talent acquisition

fluency in Polish & English (C1 level)
