What you will be doing
1) IT demand and Project Management from Korea sites
- Act as point of contact to discuss potential IT demands and/or project. Advise users on detailing their requirements and raising requests through proper channels within IT organization.
- Ensure all demands are captured, and fed into the global demand management process.
- Stay current on the progress of ongoing demands and inform your business contacts where needed.
- For demands for which you are the owner, liaise with IS APM and relevant functional teams to ensure the proposed solution is approved and in line with corporate standards.
- Execute tasks for IT demands or projects managed by technical demand owner or project manager; for demands/projects exceeding 300K€ budget and/or 100 man-days of a high complexity.
2) Onsite technical support for Korean sites
- Deliver IT technical support for complex issues or situations requiring onsite intervention within the digital workplace domain
- Adhere to the regional plan and ensure the implementation of standardized hardware life cycle management at support sites.
- Work with local BIT/key users to manage IS licenses and assets, ensuring accurate records and compliance with IT asset management processes.
3) Product Support – regional scope
- Own and manage the refresh cycle for IT devices in production and lab
- Build, maintain and lead a virtual team of SMEs on in lab- and production environment
- Build and maintain SM expertise on the IT infrastructure in lab- and production environment on a regional scope and ensure detailed documentation is available
- In collaboration with business owners and relevant IT subject matter experts, ensure the IT infrastructure in lab- and production is set up according to agreed standards.
- Provide IT support for non-standard site-specific solutions that are not part of the standard IT catalogue.
4) Business Partnership
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key business contacts to identify IT requirements in a timely manner
- Serve as an IT advisor to local business units by offering guidance, support, and consultancy on IT-related topics.
5) Local IT infrastructure maintenance
- Liaise with IS functional teams, to ensure local IT infrastructure is maintained in line with corporate IT guidelines
- Accountable for managing local server room to ensure operational continuity while complying with internal control standards and external audit requirements
6) APAC PMO
- Accountable for regional execution of the IT roadmap
- Oversee all regional IT demands and projects and regularly report the status to global IS Management Team
7) IT Knowledge Management
- Address end user IT knowledge gaps and deliver end-user training and orientation for response site users.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s in computer science/information systems or above.
- 4 years management experience in IT management position.
- Knowledge of IT service structure and technical architecture.
- Broad technical knowledge and experience of the IT systems and technologies (Microsoft product).
- Broad technical knowledge and experience on IT hardware and technologies (HP, Cisco, Ricoh product)
- Broad technical knowledge and experience of key element of IT infrastructure (server, network, ect.)
- IT Security concepts.
- Ability to report on operations performance and formulate improvement proposals
- Ability to plan and deliver to objectives
- Ability to prioritize and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to deal with escalations and work under pressure
- Ability to present technical matters to a non-technical audience
- Fluent communicate with all level users in English and Korean.
