About Metal Deposition Solutions

We have a passion for perfect surfaces. Umicore’s metal deposition solutions are used for industrial and decorative applications. We are experts in developing metal-based products that give our customers’ products the edge – from printed circuit boards to jewelry and industrial components. To make sure we are ready for the next generation of applications we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new processes. What you will be doing

Main Responsibilities:

  • External coordination: Assist sales in communicating with customers, handling customer needs, processing orders and following up on orders; coordinate and communicate with shipping companies, suppliers and customs for imported products.
  • Internal coordination: Responsible for coordinating and communicating with the headquarters regarding imported products, rationally controlling air and sea freight imports, maintaining a safe inventory level, reducing the risk of stockouts, and minimizing procurement frequency and costs.
  • Responsible for analyzing and evaluating customer data, closely following changes in customer needs, and establishing and maintaining good customer relationships; collect, organize, analyze, and report on departmental business data and customer feedback, prepare monthly analysis reports on safety stock, and submit them to superiors for approval.
  • Responsible for inventory and product distribution control, management and analysis, arranging inventory and regular disposal of expired products.
  • Responsible for the daily management, supervision, guidance, training and evaluation of the team. Improve the work flow, implementation norms, performance appraisal and other basic systems of sales, procurement, warehousing and logistics, and implement them.
  • Coordinate and manage customer credit limits, including internal and external credit limits, communicate with customers in a timely manner, and track receivables to reduce credit risks.
  • Prepare reports and complete related work as required by superiors.

Who we are looking for

  • College degree or above, major in international trade, logistics or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, with priority given to those with experience in the chemical industry and department management.
  • Familiar with import and export regulations, procedures and related customs declaration process,  as well as corresponding national laws and regulations. Have experience in import and export business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Able to communicate in English and Mandarin, good English reading and writing skills.
  • Good communication skills, good at team building, strong communication and expression abilities, strong adaptability, and able to independently handle urgent work.
